Canada is the home of adventure in North America, boasting wild and rugged mountains, jaw dropping scenery and plenty of action to go along with it. Interestingly, Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world, whilst only accommodating 37 million people. This means that there is plenty of space to breathe in that fresh Canadian air and experience some of the most amazing experiences, without the hustle and bustle that us adventurers all seem to crave. Due to the country neighbouring the mainland USA to the south and Alaska to the north, Canada experiences four distinct seasons throughout the year. Generally speaking, the north which forms part of the Arctic Circle, will be snow capped, cold and can experience extreme weather conditions. Compare that to the south, which can have searing summer temperatures and snowfall during the winter months. The summer season is between June and September, while winter is from December to March.
The Canadian experience can take on many forms of adventure including hiking, skiing, mountain biking, zip lining, white water rafting, skydiving and much much more. Not only that, the country hosts some of the best wildlife on our beautiful planet, such as grizzly bears, moose, polar bears and whales.
